About Us
The Jesus People exists to help people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and stay grounded in God's truth through stories, conversations, devotionals, and biblical teaching.
Meet Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller is an online evangelist, author, filmmaker, and the founder of The Jesus People — a digital ministry now reaching millions of people every year through social media, podcasts, documentaries, and daily Scripture-centered content. Known to his audience as the "Dude with Good News," Ryan blends sound biblical teaching with practical spiritual formation for everyday life, helping people encounter the presence of God in real, transformative ways.

Ryan didn't start Jesus People from a place of having it all figured out. His story includes insecurity, heartbreak, addiction, and more than one failed ministry attempt before he ever built anything that lasted. He knows what it's like to chase success and still feel empty, to battle secret sin, and to feel stuck — what he calls being trapped in the "round pen." What changed wasn't a five-step plan; it was the relentless kindness of a God who kept pursuing him, restoring him, and refusing to let him go.
That's the conviction behind everything Jesus People makes: no failure is final, and no heart is too wild for Christ to redeem. Ryan started this movement to hand other people the same thing he was given — not a polished version of faith, but an honest one. A place where people wrestling with anxiety, shame, addiction, or plain old spiritual burnout can find biblical truth delivered straight, without the shame that often comes with it.
-
Today, Ryan hosts The Jesus People Podcast, where he sits down with pastors, theologians, influencers, and everyday believers to talk honestly about faith, suffering, redemption, and revival. He's produced documentary films spotlighting persecuted Christians, modern-day miracles, and radical testimonies of life change. He also founded Share the Struggle, a Christian mental health platform offering Scripture-based encouragement and coaching for anxiety, shame, and emotional pain — born directly out of his own journey with anxiety and the practice of gratitude that helped him find freedom.
His debut book, Meek as a Mustang, takes on a virtue he believes the church has misunderstood: meekness — not weakness, but strength fully surrendered to Jesus. Every pre-order helps smuggle a Bible to someone who needs one.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Jesus People exists for one reason: to point a generation back to Jesus — not through polish, but through honesty about where we've been broken and where He's brought healing.
